CANCELLED - Probably reschedule for March - SS on the Tesla trail at Edison snow park, leaders Kris Besson and Helen Heeren. Approximately 5 miles with lots of ups and downs, intermediate skill level. Due to the distance and elevation changes an above average fitness level is suggested for this SS. January 29: This will be a X-C ski outing at Meissner Snow Park, for advanced beginners or intermediate skiers. The trail is groomed, it will have some ups and downs and it will be approximately 4 miles with a stop for a snack or lunch at the Meissner shelter.
January 23: Snowshoe at Swampy Lakes. Meet at Wallows at 9:30 a.m. Patty Pitera leading, need a co-leader. Please contact Patty if you can co-lead this SS. Drivers will need a snow park permit. RSVP to Patty
February 19th – SS or hike (depending on weather at the time) to see the super full moon. Open for any guests, significant others, spouses, etc. Meet at the Sunriver resort lodge at 6 P.M. Brigid Kennaday leader. We will either ss or hike out on one of the paths out from the lodge and return. Afterwards if people want we could warm up with a hot toddy at the lodge, Twisted Tavern has a special Month of Chocolate drinks. Please RSVP to Brigid
February 4th– SS to Todd Lake. Meet at Wallows at 9:30 A.M. Marnell McClenaghan and Carolyn Spaniol leaders.
January 17th– SS on the golf course or possibly Cardinal Bridge area. Valerie Wood will be providing soup at her house afterwards. Need a lunch and SS helper for Valerie. Meet at 10:00 at Valerie's house.
Snowshoe (or moonlight walk)-- Enjoy a bowl of chili and see the full moon and a lunar eclipse, open for members and your guests.

Park in the back lot off Beaver – we will have the back door unlocked.
Dress warmly, bring a flashlight or headlight, and your beverage. And, hope for a clear sky for viewing in Paulina Park at the SHARC.

Our first outing is a SnowShoe on December 14th to look at the Christmas lights at the Sunriver Resort.
Meet on the north side of the lodge. We will snow shoe for about a half hour (or hike). Afterwards people are welcome to stop by in the lodge to see the gingerbread houses upstairs, and/or have a drink or a snack, etc.

Winter Fun's Organizational Meeting will be held Wednesday Dec. 5 at 5:00 at SHARC. People attending should bring their calendars, ideas, and some "finger food" to share. Beverage will be provided.
