April 25: Hearty Soles Friendship Hike!
Join your leaders, Marti Fobes and Carolyn Spaniol for a 5 – 6 mile walk through Sunriver. Meet at Hola! Restaurant in Sunriver at 10 a.m. After our hike we will have lunch at Hola!
Bring water and a bar of soap for Care and Share. RSVP to Carolyn Spaniol, Carolyn.email@example.com by April 23. Please indicate if you will be joining us for lunch as I need a firm head count.
April 25, Mid-Soft Soles Friendship Walk!
This is on the same day as the Hearty Soles Friendship Walk but this walk is for those of us who want to take a nice leisurely stroll along the river and then have lunch at Hola’s after. We will be out approximately an hour and there are several benches along the way if you need to rest and take in the beautiful scenery.
Meet at 10:00 a.m. at Hola’s parking lot. Bring water and a bar of soap for Care and Share. RSVP to your leaders, Laura Dickinson, firstname.lastname@example.org and Thea Ciccolo by April 23. Please indicate if you will be joining us for lunch as we need a firm head count.
April 26: Tumulus Trail in the Badlands.
Meet at Holy Trinity Church on Cottonwood at 9:00 a.m.
The hike on April 26 will be on the Tumulus Trail in the Badlands – a five mile round trip hike with an elevation gain of 75 feet. This serpentine trail winds around large lava blisters with hidden alcoves, moats and open woodlands.
Meet at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Cottonwood Rd at 9:00 am. Bring water, a snack, soap for Care and Share and $3 for driver. Lunch will be at Worthy Brewery.. Some high clearance cars may be needed.

Friday, May 11, Lower Paulina Creek Trail: Easy to moderate, 5.6 miles round trip following Paulina Creek to Mc Kay Crossing Campground via a 15 foot waterfall.
Lunch or snack at campground before returning to the trailhead and cars.

May 15 at the SHARC in Sunriver: Join us for the SRWC Giving Luncheon and installation of new Officers to the 2018-2019 Board of Directors.
Check-in is 11:30 a.m. Cost is $20. RSVP by May 11 to firstname.lastname@example.org
The Philanthropy Grant recipients for 2018 will be announced and introduced at the SRWC May Giving Luncheon, May 15, at SHARC. This is a celebration of not only the recipients, but of the SRWC members and their continued work and support to produce funds for the Philanthropy Grants!

May 17, Whiskey Ridge Trail:
Meet at Holy Trinity Church at 9 a.m. The trail is approximately 5 miles long with 300 feet of elevation gain. Please bring $4 for driver, a lunch, sunscreen and a bar of soap for Care and Share.

May 18, 7 p.m.: Theatre evening in Sunriver to see SR Stars presentation, at the Door in the Business Park, cost $15. Meet for dinner before. Details in SRWC Newsletter.
May 20, at 2 p.m.: Central Oregon Symphony. Tickets are free but you must have one. Optional dinner afterwards. Meet at North Store at 1:15 p.m. for carpooling. Details, see SRWC Newsletter.
May 22, Alder Springs:This hike is about 6 miles round trip and includes a creek crossing. Please bring hiking poles, water shoes and a towel to dry your feet off. Also needed are lunch, water, sunscreen, bar of soap for Care and Share and $4 for the driver.
Meet at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 8:30 to carpool. The road requires a car with high clearance.
