Thursday, August 30, 5 p.m.: Pizza and Dixieland music at Ponderosa Pizza. Kickoff of Labor Day weekend of free Dixieland Jazz by retired pros from the Northwest. Contact Dottie Meilink for info and carpooling.
September 6: Scott Mtn. Loop – an 8 – 9 mile loop west of McKenzie Pass with a 1200 ft elevation gain. The trail goes by Benson and Tenas Lakes with good views of North Sister and Mt. Washington with a panorama at the top 6,116 ft Scott Mountain. Meet at HTCC at 7:45 a.m. for a long drive to trailhead. Sturdy hiking boots are a must; hiking poles recommended. Bring a lunch, plenty of water and $ 4 for the drivers.

September 30: Dinner Club.
You are invited to attend the organizational social for this year’s Sunriver Women’s Dinner Club. The Dinner Club is for people who enjoy sharing a meal and socializing with new and old friends. We meet in member’s homes three times a year to share a themed potluck dinner. At the end of the year we meet again as a group to re-acquaint. This can be an opportunity to be adventurous with new cuisines or gourmet ingredients or not. If this appeals to you, please consider joining in the fun. Singles are welcome to bring a guest.
