The Sunriver Women’s Club (SRWC) continues its series of “Mini-Programs” on Thursday, Feb. 28, from 2 to 3:30 pm, with a presentation of “Home Hacks You Can Control”. Learn how to do minor electrical repairs (doorbells, small appliances), replace smoke directors, light fixtures, complete painting or staining window sills, picture frames, etc. or tackle minor plumbing issues. Local professionals will share their secret tips and the tools you need to complete your projects. The presentation will take place at the Sunriver Area Chamber of Commerce in the Business Park (across the street from camp Abbot Trading Company). The cost to attend is $5.00 and you can RSVP your attendance to: firstname.lastname@example.org

Our philanthropy is knitting chemo caps and warm caps for the Sunriver and LaPine school children, we have donated approximately 130 over the past year.

March 13: “Special” Monthly Luncheon, field trip to La Pine!
SRWC has been invited to a luncheon and visitation at the La Pine Senior Activity Center for our March program. Join us at the Center for a tasty lunch and a presentation by Jamie Donahue about the Center facility and activities, you will be surprised at the wonderful resource in South Deschutes County! Lunch will be available at 11:45a.m. and includes clam chowder, a choice of chef’s salad or shrimp salad, garlic bread and carrot cake. Contribution to the Center will be $10 each.
