    Welcome Event

    Date: September 17, 2019

    Time: 4 - 6:00 pm

    Location: SHARC

    Monthly Luncheons

You are invited to our annual Welcome Event on Tuesday, September 17, from 4 to 6 pm at the SHARC.  Newcomers and returning members alike will learn about the various ways our members make this a special organization by giving generously to one another. Our members are “Stepping Up for Friendship, Fun, and Philanthropy” through:

    • Giving a warm welcome and a network of supportive women to new arrivals in the community.
    • Being companions while doing a shared interest—hiking, doing winter activities, and knitting.
    • Socializing in monthly lunches, bookclubs, quarterly dinner clubs, and at the annual kick-off welcome event.
    • Experiencing camaraderie while volunteering to support our less fortunate neighbors.

Representatives of the various programs and activities will be present to introduce themselves and tell how they stepped up.  Interested women will be able to sign-up for an array of activities and programs. We will be serving appetizers and a glass of wine, iced tea or lemonade for all to enjoy.  Come join us!

This is a beautiful 5 mile hike around the Miller Lake. Everything is very green due to the many creeks running down the mountain into the lake. There are to very short muddy spots to walk through and about 4 small downed logs which are easy to step over. Hiking shoes and poles are good options.  After hiking, we can kayak or SUP on the lake.  When you RSVP, please indicated if you want to kayak or SUP so we can arrange carpooling accordingly.  We should return by 4 p.m.

Meet at Holy Trinity Church at 8:15, RSVP to Brigid Kennady  or Nancy Todd. Remember to  indicate if you plan to kayak or SUP.
