You are invited to our annual Welcome Event on Tuesday, September 17, from 4 to 6 pm at the SHARC.  Newcomers and returning members alike will learn about the various ways our members make this a special organization by giving generously to one another. Our members are “Stepping Up for Friendship, Fun, and Philanthropy” through:

  • Giving a warm welcome and a network of supportive women to new arrivals in the community.
  • Being companions while doing a shared interest—hiking, doing winter activities, and knitting.
  • Socializing in monthly lunches, bookclubs, quarterly dinner clubs, and at the annual kick-off welcome event.
  • Experiencing camaraderie while volunteering to support our less fortunate neighbors.

Representatives of the various programs and activities will be present to introduce themselves and tell how they stepped up.  Interested women will be able to sign-up for an array of activities and programs. We will be serving appetizers and a glass of wine, iced tea or lemonade for all to enjoy.  Come join us!
