2020 SRWC Grant Applications
The Sunriver Women’s Club (SRWC) 2020 Philanthropy Grant Application process will start in late fall.
To qualify, grant applicants must operate under a current 501(c) 3 nonprofit tax exempt status from the IRS. Grants are evaluated by the SRWC Philanthropy Committee and the Board of Directors select grant recipients in the spring.
Awarded grants support nonprofit agencies or organizations whose work primarily provides basic necessities in south Deschutes County to women, children, families and seniors. Basic necessities consist of food, shelter, health, clothing, education, child development and care. In 2019 SRWC awarded $60,000 to 17 nonprofit agencies.
Funding of these grants is made possible through the fundraising efforts of the SRWC and the generous support of the Sunriver community and surrounding area. Since 1999, the SRWC’s philanthropy program has awarded more than $635,855 to organizations in south Deschutes County.
Many residents of south Deschutes County have significant needs for the basic necessities of food, shelter, clothing, health, education, and child development and care.
The goal of the Philanthropy Program is to provide these basic necessities in south Deschutes County, improving lives and strengthening community.
Annually the Sunriver Women’s Club (SRWC) raises funds to support their Philanthropy Program; funds accrue through membership fees, the Sunriver Art Fair, the Winter Gala, other fundraising activities, and member donations.
